London2

Ok, so I decided to just upload the pics, and then i would talk about the trip here. I know there aren't many, but for whatever reason, it takes about 10 million years to upload photos to this website. So many apologies for the limited number of photos. I've just returned from London, and it was pretty amazing to say the least. After I got off the plane, I found my hotel and proceeded directly to purchase my theater tickets for the night. I purchased some tickets for Billy Elliot, which I had studied in my British theater class the year before. I enjoyed a nice London brew(for 4 pounds), and then I headed to the show. It was spectacular.. The next day was filled with museums, cathedrals, abbeys, sipping tea in the park, and another night at the theater! In addition I stopped by the Samford owned Daniel house, where I had tea with one of my mom's colleagues. She invited my to Bath and stonehenge the next day, and I thought if over while I enjoyed Les Miserables. Les Mis was by far my favorite show...the leading man's voice was incredible...perfect pitch..powerful...smooth. I awoke early the next morning and joined the Samford crew for Bath and Stonehenge, which were both pretty great! I don't have time to list all the details, but I do feel I should mention the fact that I stumbled upon a rehearsal for a BBC concert in the Abbey at Bath. There I found the premier female soprano in the world rehearsing with a full orchestra! It was absolutely divine! The best part about the day was definitely the fact that I got to enjoy it with my friend Hannah. (girl in the picture with me) We basically spent the day together, talking about all sorts of things. It was real conversation, the edifying kind. And it was simply fun. She then accompanied me to Mary Poppins in the evening, and afterwards dinner. She was a godsend, because I was in need of some good conversation! Sorry I can't be more detailed, but I need to get some sleep! The pics are below!!
